Cleaning the skin and face is very essential as our skin and especially the face is what tells the story about our inner health and our lifestyle. But these days the skin treatments have become very expensive and one doesn’t afford to visit the salons every other day just to have their skin pores cleaned. Therefore, in this article some of the best and tried skin care tips have been shared so that you can take care of your skin and its health while sitting at home. The micro derma abrasion I have mentioned in the list is although a salon treatment but not very expensive. Plus you would just need to have it done once in every six months and your skin and the pores will be oil and dust free for the coming months ahead. Also its a safe treatment without the use of chemicals.

Steam cleaning

Steam cleaning is the oldest natural way of cleaning the skin and making it glow reflecting pure health. All you need to do it take some water in a bowl and heat it. After the water is boiled, turn of the stove and put your face over the steam with a towel covering you area and head over the bowl. Let the steam touch your face for about 15 minutes and then take a cotton pad and clean your face with it. Afterwards massage an ice cube on your face to help the pores get closed and also to tighten the skin.

Exfoliation and face wash

A good face wash will clean the pores on regular basis and it will be a lot easier for you to maintain that health and cleanliness. Many people confuse a simple face wash with exfoliation where as exfoliation masks are different. They have tiny particles called pigments in them that get rubbed on the skin to make the dead skin fall off. Face wash without scrub can be and in fact should be done everyday, morning and evening followed by a non greasy moisturizer. However the exfoliation must only be done twice a week as too much rubbing of the skin causes rash and dryness.

Derma abrasion

Derma abrasion is a treatment with a machine where the machine is shaped like a vacuum and the end of it basically extracts all the dust and oil from the skin pores. This is available at beauty salons and medical centers too and is becoming very popular in the entire world these days because people are now starting to take care of their skin and health more than the makeup and beauty products.

No foundation

There are times when we have to go somewhere and the skin looks a little pale or uneven. In those times of crisis, applying a layer of foundation is ok but try not using it too much in everyday life. This also not only clogs the pores but the chemicals in it damage the skin and it starts looking uneven permanently. Do not use a foundation in everyday life as much as you can. Take care of your skin on regular basis and you might never have to use a foundation.

Non greasy moisturizer

This is a common guideline is almost every beauty blog post and video to moisturize your skin. And that is true, moisturizing your skin helps the skin to stay hydrated and soft without catching dryness and cracks. But the one thing many don’t know is about the type of moisturizers and what to choose from. There are any lotions that have an oily greasiness in them thus making the skin appear very oily. That makes the pores cloggy and thus the darkening of the skin occurs, aiming it look like dead and suffocated. When choosing a lotion, go for something that hydrates the skin but is not greasy and oily. Also, check your skin type before buying something.
