Music is a way of aberration for people since decades. Many peoples are listening songs while driving, travelling in aeroplanes and trains, doing household work, painting and students can solve mathematics questions more easily with music. It is a form of entertainment and reclines as well.
As time passes new changes have come and they keep on coming. Musical trends have changed so much and foreign music industry is more attractive and popular that no one can resist listening to it. Their Songs of today are promotes obscene lyrics. Some songs are so much profane that we can’t listen with our family; lyrics i.e. kill kare tera bomb figure, hip ko hila subko hila, ho sari night besharmi ki height are that we hear every day and take it for granted. Children’s also listen and with the passage of time they think that this is entertainment and fun stuff because their elders are also enjoying. Parents are also responsible with content creators and media because all these obscene and bold videos are watched as family entertainment. And when the kids grew up then definitely their language and mentality would be cheap. Students of matric and even low level classes are the part of eve teasing and say words of these songs very often to girls like sheela ki jawani, aai chikni chameli etc.
if in earlier childhood they watch movies and listen songs that are unethical then how they respect a women? Many of the sexual harassment cases are the influence of this kind of content that is at every home. Because as an entertainment it is shown that a women revel in all these comments and love to hear it. But in reality totally contradicts with the artificial and dreamy world. No one wants to listen these kind of words at any cost. One more thing is that cable operators play 24 hours songs and channel are specified who play repeatedly and it tantalize viewers especially teenagers.
This openness of media is constantly destroying our cultural values and soon the time will come when new generation forgets the dos and don’ts. Media design their shows keeping in mind their ratings and viewer’s interest. It is the duty of the viewers that at least they send an e-mail or contact them through fan pages and inform them, that this kind of content is not your choice and it is against moral values so it should be censored by authorities.
While travelling or on family get together it is very embarrassing when songs are played and the sounds like ‘tu nangi ache lgti ha tu gandi achee lgti ha’ hit in the ears and finally we have to switch off them.
Music is the earning force for millions of people around the globe. Every one enjoys listening it but obscene words are very annoying for both genders. It promotes eve teasing, sexual harassment, immoral language and giving awareness to our children’s about hidden issues that are unnecessary. Parents should give proper time to their loved ones and avoid listening any nefarious things in front of them. And make one’s sensible that which content is good and bad for you. So being a responsible person and citizen we should know the teachings of Islam and follow the rules of Islam. Otherwise no one respect our elders and good manners would not remain between us.
