Sports nowadays is very common among the people. Everyone wants to enter in sports field. The passion of the fans of different sports are so cheering that particular game become famous. Sponsors and many companies are supporting and promoting different games. They are providing facilities to the sportsman. But, when a game promotes a new type of event is also taken out. Like in Cricket, WorldCup is there. Meaning to say that in every game there’s a mega event. They want a platform on which they can set that event. They want to arrange mega event on a neutral ground or stadium. For that, Dubai is always there. Though, they have not any official team but there grounds and stadiums are always filled with the people. Dubai is the best place on which a mega event can be held.
There are many games like Tennis, Cricket, Football etc. But the most favourite game of Dubai is Football and in there stadiums mostly Cricket game is played. Every year 30-40 matches are played in the Dubai’s stadium. The sports played in Dubai are: Golf, Tennis, Hockey, Football, Cricket, Horse Racing, Rugby, Swimming and Ice Rink. Every year this happens that outsiders came Dubai to play. They have many stadiums which are multipurpose stadiums and this is a positive thing. Like DSC Multi-Purpose Stadium, Al-Maktoum Stadium, Al-Rashid Stadium, Zabeel Stadium, Police Officers Club Stadium, DSC Indoor Arena. They built these stadiums so greatly that their grass and arrangements impresses everyone. There are many more stadiums of different games. More than 5 games are played in Dubai. The great thing is that their Sheikhs invests money on the games played there. Tennis is also played. For that game they also have 2 stadiums: Aviation Club Tennis Centre and Aviation Club. Tennis is the most high paid game in the world and see Dubai also very forward in sports as well that they are also supporting the most high paid game. Not only this, but Hockey which is our, the Pakistan’s national game. They support this hardworking game more than us. They have a ground of Hockey as well named DSC Hockey Stadium. A grass like carpet and arrangements are beautiful. Now coming up to the most popular game of the year 2014. Cricket ! Woah. What a game it is. I think the most unique I found. Dubai strongly supports Cricket and they invests on it with open heart. There are total 4 stadiums of Cricket, DSC Cricket Stadium, Dubai Cricket Council Ground 1 and Ground 2, and The Sevens Stadium. But, international level of Cricket is only played in one ground named DSC Cricket Stadium which the most beautiful ground of the Cricket after Sydney. The supporters there are always in high amount. It is now the home of Cricket for Pakistan. Every match of Pakistan is played in U.A.E when Home Series is announced. So, the audience always be in touch with the place and it always got busy. HorseRacing and Rugby stadiums are also present in Dubai and Horse Racing is played on high scale. Many Sheikhs of Dubai attend that event. Meydan Racecourse, Dubai Exiles Rugby Ground and The Sevens are the grounds and platform for these both games. Not only outdoor games but Indoor games are also very famous in Dubai. Indoor games like swimming and IceRink which is played under a roof. They also built the grounds for these games as well. Wild Wadi Waterpark swimming pools, Dreamland Aqua Park pools, Jet-skiing, Al-Boom Diving, Dubai Autodrome, Scuba International, Hamdan Sports Complex and Dubai Ice Rink are the platforms on which these games are played. So a great type of arrangements they do. Although they never qualifies in any event but the way they supports other countries games I think this is great thing. We support Dubai and UAE because they grant us permission to play in their grounds.
